June 2018 – Stefania received a scholarship to attend the Attilio Corbella ISOS 2018 workshop in Gargnano, Italy, where she won the people’s choice award for best oral presentation!

May 2018 – James’ work with Mark and Andy on potential errors when measure and reporting selectivity factors for kinetic resolution has been accepted for publication in Tetrahedron.

Apr 2018 – Many congratulations to Stefania, who claimed runner-up spot at the SCI Postgraduate Symposium held at the University of Edinburgh!

Dec 2017 – Congratulations to Stefania for winning a prize for her fantastic talk at this years postgraduate symposium!

Nov 2017 – Stefania has returned from her stay with Prof. Joseph Moran in Strasbourg. Many thanks to the RSC Mobility Grant for helping to start this productive collaboration!

Oct 2017 – James’ work on N– to C-sulfonyl transfer has been published in Org. Biomol. Chem.

Sept 2017 – Welcome to Adrian and Ben, who have joined the group for their final year undergraduate research projects.

Sept 2017 – Stefania has written an excellent article for the St Andrews Postgraduate Magazine on our success in the 2016 National Retrosynthesis Competition.

Sept 2017 – Well done to Susan, who presented her work at the Advances in Boronic Organic Chemistry conference held at the University of Sheffield.

Sep 2017 – James presented some of the group’s work at the Gregynog Synthesis Workshop.

Aug 2017 – James’ work from the ADS group on tandem Pd-catalysed allylic amination and isothiourea-catalysed [2,3]-rearrangement has been published in J. Am. Chem. Soc.

Aug 2017 – Good luck to Stefania who has started her placement with Joseph Moran at the University of Strasbourg.

Jul 2017 – Congratulations to Stefania who has been awarded an RSC Mobility Grant to complete her CDT Capstone Experience in the laboratory of Joseph Moran at the University of Strasbourg.

Mar 2017 – Great talk by Bryony, Euan, and Liam on their work at the Annual CRITICAT CDT conference! Stefania also did a fantastic job of chairing the plenary session by Prof. Sir Martyn Poliakoff.

Mar 2017 – James’ work from the ADS group on the mechanism of a catalytic enantioselective [2,3]-rearrangement reaction has been published in J. Am. Chem. Soc.

Mar 2017 – Well done to Andrew and Rob, who have both given talks on their undergraduate research projects.
